I just did the laundry and bought groceries, I am so productive!
Lemony fresh laundry is delicious except it's hot up here and the hot laundry isn't as appealing to lie in. Win some, lose some!!

Okay, last night I went to the Whippersnapper closing party funeral thing and it was very fun.

Day was covering it for BlogTO so she took a bunch of pictures, I hope that I get to see/steal those photos as well. I stole these two off facebook. I feel that the rule is, if I am tagged in it, I get to use it. Right?

Yeah Whippersnapper was sweaty as all fuck and I got stupidly drunk (I've decided that I either have to give up eating or drinking to lose weight guess which one I chose. JUST KIDDING, MOTHER.) and only danced a little bit it was so packed. I prefer dancing when it's medium-busy and then I can really giver, ya know?

Boys Who Say No played and they said, Remember when we partied in Saskatoon, that was so fun! and I said, I remember how we had all the good times!

I haven't even had any coffee today. Although I am drinking black iced tea/lemonade and it's the best.

I am working all through this long weekend but that's okay I need the money plus I've already been vacationing all through life 'cause I'm lucky like that. IT'S LIKE THAT AND THAT'S THE WAY IT IS.
sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me.

I hung around with Violet all day yesterday and then I ended up meeting up with her on Dundas at 1 a.m. and going to Press Club to meet up with Noodle and some other babes.

When Violet and Noodle got introduced they had to clarify who they were on my blog to better understand each other and Noodle said 'I'M NOODLE!' and I laughed and laughed. Especially because Noodle chose her own nickname for certain.

Ewww I don't want to go to work last night. I dreamt last night that I skipped it.
I also had two individual dreams about making out with a big crush of mine and in the dream it was way dreamier than real life, but possibly because I wasn't as nervous as real life oh and because in the dream he was nice. HAHAAAAAAHAHAH.

cottage 2010 part 1

Going to brunch with Violet in approximately one minute so I don't have much time!!





Here are the first pictures from cottage friendship retreat weekend for you, though. Such a lovely lovely time and I have a few battle scars (scrapes on my wrists and toes from the zebra shells in the lake and a blister from hot marshmallow on my finger).











I can't even handle looking at my cottage bed right now it just makes me too jealous of my past self. Past self was so lucky!

Luckily I fully enjoyed it and reveled in it while I was there. I couldn't walk into my room to get something without stopping to have a giant sigh and possibly lie down for a minute or two...



I generally sleep like a log but I slept even better than a log except the sun rose and shone right on my face before six a.m. and each morning I woke up when that happened, had some water and then snuggled back down and slept a few more hours.



Sure, Day and Dollface made fun of me for how long it took me to pick out my sheets and pillowcases but it was totally worth it. Creating decadence around oneself is worth effort for certain.

Hey, we're also taking Day, who I invited on a whim thinking that she might need a vacation. Everyone else we know has jobs and obligations and things to do.



I feel bad because Niki leaves forever (or at least awhile) on Monday and now I won't get to spend more time with her before she goes..

I'm at Mrs. and her bf's house! Jonathan and George are hanging out with me and they are Very Cute, luckily.

I barely do. Man, having those kittens around was so great. Kittens kittens kittens.


George is a bit bigger now. And by a big, I mean huge. Huge and hairy we call him fur pants. I love him.

I also love Jonathan because he is such a good deadpan even-tempered kind of a guy. And he's very good looking.

Also the note says I should tell Mrs. if I have sex and then she'll wash the sheets. I wonder if this applies to my own house as well, or just at hers?

Aaalso if I have sex it most certainly will not be in the bed.
I had a series of jokes lined up for going after that comment but all seemed a bit dumb. I obviously will only be making out with lots of babes forever.


I miss Tilda Swinton and her kittens SO BADLY sometimes.


I think that Mrs's favourite part about me staying here will be how I'm going to take pictures of all of the stuff of hers that I like. There's so much stuff I like!

The one on the left was in the gum commercial with me. He is a very good theatre actor. He reminds me a lot of one of my old best friends and so I just interact with him like he's familiar even though he's really not. Super nice guy, though.Too bad he didn't fall in love with me in real life like in the commercial that would be super funny. I only do anything for jokes.





Aww he wasn't sad, I don't think? Maybe he was. Maybe he got tired of being called Tenille and being yelled at while driving us?


Oh yeah, the guy in the middle runs Whippersnapper Gallery which has been such a great art and music space for the last 5 years and now will be closing its doors. Kinda sad, but also so wonderful what he's done there.
They're having a funeral/good-bye party on July 29th, dress to express your sorrow and drown your sadness in alcohol. Should be fun? 587A College Street.

I wonder how the rest of their tour was.



Yeah so, break in the park yesterday turned into a full-on party hang until 1 a.m.
I knew that would happen! Damn! But it was also totally great. And I've been in such a bad mood the past few days that when I'm feeling alright I tend to kinda want to just go with it, ya know??

Ended up going to Lakeview Lunch after park for drinks and fries. They had caesars on special but they wouldn't let me have a bloody mary on special! What the fuck is that, Lakeview? Stuuupid, it's basically the same drink and isn't tomato juice cheaper than clamato?
Also, they didn't have any beers I could have and they don't have Strongbow anymore. LAAAAAAAAME.
I had some shitty white wine.

Then for some reason I went to Ronnie's with the gang even though I totally meant to go home. Whoooops. Ran into some other friends, though, and it was very fun. I don't even really regret not coming home earlier to clean and work.
Well, kinda.



Working Bon Jovi now. Have a feeling it's going to be a gong show. Just a sneaking suspicion.
