I have a weird thing about Dairy Queen Blizzards where I basically won't eat them unless they have my kind. Except my order is obnoxious: smartie blizzard but instead of chocolate syrup I want mint syrup and then I want to pay to get extra skor bits added in.
SO GOOD.
I have been to known, in the past, to literally walk out of Dairy Queen if this is not available for me.


also good is eating ice cream and drinking beers on a "beach" by the lake in the middle of March. It was a bit chilly, I'll admit, but so sunny and nice and there were so many dogs playing and families hanging out.
Spring, man.

I don't think I'm responsible enough to have long hairs. Every day is a new awful tangle. This summer is going to be the worst. I need someone to follow me around and brush my hair for me.

I'm going to go walk to work right away here and it's 18 degrees outside so... life is pretty alright.



After beach beers I took the dog to the park for awhile, then met Carla Ghee and Norman and co. at Squirley's for patio hang-times, then went to see that new Will Ferrell movie with Nicole, then hung out with Nicole at mine and made a stirfry and drank gin.
FULL DAY OF FUN TIMES.



I'm making up for it today by hanging out solo all day and doing some laundry and maybe some cleaning in a minute here... I should make soup.
Work tonight and then Rap Battlez with some of my favourite people and everything is looking up, guys!

I constantly get up to get something and then come and sit back down having forgotten completely what I got up to get.



My landlord came by today to fix the handle on the toilet which has been broken forevs. Obviously he would come today. Today as I was sitting there thinking: hmmm maybe I should clean up a bit? it's ridiculous in here... especially the bathroom...
CLASSIC.



Downloading Christmas music now, tidying here and there. Thinking about sorting through all the gifts I've bought and possibly wrapping them up.



For some stupid reason I bought a lot of big gifts. Or bigger gifts. And now I have to cart them all home. Oh, the crosses I bear!

this is the bottle of wine I brought to the tree-trimming party I went to on Friday. I decorated the bottle with those ornaments and then the ornaments went onto the tree! Fun!
That is my new Christmas teatowel, also.

Also weird is when the TV in the bar is playing people who you are partying with.


Here is the first gift I gave this season! It was for the Mrs. and I made her open it up right away. I should've taken photos of the actual gift, but I didn't.

Those ornaments also went on the tree.


yeah yeah too bad I didn't do a better job on these nails. Some had tiny diamonds!
I can't wait 'til I'm at home and I can have my nails done all the time. Damn no-nail-polish-at-work.


The Mrs. does decorating and buying and stuff for film sets and she has a great sense of style. She knows how to put things together in ways that I find really appealing. Their house is really remarkable. I didn't take too many photos of it, sorry.

Oh Christmas Tree!

I got into an argument with some people over tasteful trees vs. a mishmash of ornaments with "sentimental" value.
haha you can guess which side I'm on probably just from the quotation marks.



Mrs.'s tree is a great mix though, with handmade and antique and vintage ornaments but they're all pretty. No shitty kid's crap on here. (haha, sorry if that's your tradition...)

It is so hard to do anything when you can't see. It's so hard. I never want to go blind. Pretty much ever.

It happened at 4 in the morning yesterday and so I just went to sleep because I did not feel like dealing with it. It was still bad this morning though, so I spent the afternoon in emergency.. Funtimes!

I'll update about it later with photos and stuff. Not of my cornea though, luckily.

Right now I'm trying to make my eye stop hurting enough to go walk the dog. Almost there!



It should be better by tomorrow, even.
If not I have to go back to the hospital and who even wants that?? Not this guy.
Plus there's a work party I need to go get messy at and also it's Sunday and that means Dakota, obviously.



Sucks that I had to miss work but I look like hell and can't really function.. so.. you know.

I kind of think I deserve a treat so maybe I will buy myself something exciting on my way to Dollface's... I'm not sure what it'll be but hopefully it is tasty.

Whoa, I just got a special Valentines Day Treat that I was not expecting!





And I was totally going to buy myself a bouquet of flowers while I was out but then I couldn't justify the expense.




Aw, I love that killary, always my perfect Valentine....




And I'm still expecting another Valentines Day Treat!!!
Actually at least 2 more, but mum's package I haven't heard anything about yet...

I guess I'm greedy!

I have to say, I came very close to buying a whole lot of chocolate today but I bought multi-vitamins instead!
I kind of wish I had that chocolate though...

I have to go clean and prepare for my treat!
