Guys I bet you're wondering how my road trip went!
Well, it started out by me doing a good job on packing, see above.
Actually we didn't even drink the champagne because I got too tired. hahaaa classssic.


ROAD TRIP!!
I lovelovelove roadtrips. you can't really tell here but I really do. I smiled so much. Peever said, "It's nice to see you this happy". Yeahyeahyeah. Also happy here because Peevs brought me a "playoff gift", this Canucks tuque. Prettypretty nice guy there.




Our first stop was at Peller estates winery for lunch with my old school pal. I hadn't seen this lady in probably 4 or 5 years? Insane! I really missed her and so it was great to hug her up and chat about our lives.

Oh, also we ate SO MUCH great, great food. Peller was great with making all my food both gluten-free aaaand vegetarian. So helpful! So nice!
They even had gluten-free bread so I got to try the ice wine butter. NOM.
(I'm very awkward about all my food requirements and I actually hate and fear eating in most restaurants and so when people are especially nice/accepting/accommodating then I pretty much want to weep with gratitude.)

Tourist o'clock!
We actually had so much fun at the falls. I'm not surprised as we are two of the funnest people I've ever heard of, but I think we did an especially good job.

We got an amazing groupon (it was actually from Travelzoo, I believe) for our hotel room and it included
two king bed bedroom (I called window) suite on the 41st floor
cocktails in the evening (not awesome but hey, free drink is a free drink)
$50 Dave & Buster voucher
$40 voucher for either the keg or t.g.i.fridays
breakfast buffet

is that all? I don't remember. Anyway. Good deal!!!

Anyway. We did lots of things! We did Dave & Busters (won some sweet prizes!) and went up the Skylon tower and bowled and wandered around were complete tourists. So nice.

I was very, very excited and bent-set on riding the skywheel. It was nice.


Hotel room:

I put all the pillows on one bed. Obviously!


Jacuzzi tub -- if I could have just stayed a bit longer I probably would have lived in there. We had three sinks. God knows why but I for sure used them all just because.


Breakfast! Not bad not bad.

Maid of the mist looked a bit scary to ride on. Ragdoll, I think Peevs said about it.

I started getting a bad cold in the evening, which was a bit of a piss-off but it wasn't the worst. I did get a bit grumbly, though.
And in the morning I was pretty grouchy but I'm getting better (a bit) at not being the worst grumbliest human and also peevs is good about being patient and for that I'm pretty grateful, gotta say.

Also found this sweeeet Canucks shirt. Because I like sports paraphernalia now, I guess.


Anyway. If all romantic vacations are this fun then I guess I'd go on more.
Yeah, for sure I would.

Tonight is the Jays home opener and I'm working it (obviously) and tonnes of babes are going but they'll all be up on 500 and I'll be wanting to die with how annoying it's going to be on 100 level because it's just too busy to handle.
Whatever. I'm going to have a giant coffee and hope that a good mood ensues that I can ride until I can get the eff out of there.
Except I probably won't be done until midnight or 1 a.m... another fun thing about when the dome is exceptionally busy.
A Saskatoon band is playing with an awesome toronto band and I'd like to go to that. Hmmmmm. Hopefully!

I'm getting pretty excited at the idea of my new apartment.
I'm hoping and fingers crossing everything works out like I'm dreaming.
I made a detailed list of what we're looking for, in order to clarify and submit to the universe my desires. Gooooooo universe.


I would like to get a job some day where I didn't have to wear a uniform.
I'd like to get a job where I got to wear costumes. yeaaahh costumes.

12 hours of party just isn't enough for me

I partied until 6 a.m. last night with 5 or 6 cute dudes (I think 6?) and no other girls and you know what we did mostly? Looked at pictures of our cats.
Amazing.
I love cats. And nice dudes.

Have you guys seen that commercial with the guy and the cat on his belly? And he just loves that cat?  Kills me! that's the fucking best. Haaaa funny cat commercials are the best, actually.


I had a real lovely time, though. It was an odd mix of people. One vague friend (has been referred to as French-Braider on here I think?) I hadn't seen in forevs, and a bunch of dudes I barely know. I like situations like that!

The house was really nice and since it was a dude's bachelor pad I had low expectations but it was definitely neat and tidier than my place. Impressive. I love visiting people's houses. I like looking at people's things. Obviously. I'm super nosy.

It's nice to sit around talking for hours with people you barely know and getting to like them and smoking a hundred cigarettes (leave me alone) and 6 glasses of water (the only reason I'm alive today, I think).
And French-Braider bought me candy! 


I wore my fucking hat until 5:30 and then promptly forgot it at the dude's house. He can have it. I won't be needing it until the next time that team is in a game that I want to watch.

I have around 1 billion photos of me in this stupid (wonderful) hat might as well get to posting some of them, I guess!

I had such a good superbowl time! Our team won the bowl!

- me to Norman the other day. he for sure did not believe me and was a bit peeved because I said "don't worry Vancouver will win this hockey game" and he was like "this is a very superstitious sport!"
they did win, though.


I have way more to say about Superbowl and all of the rest of the partying we did yesterday (all 12+ hours of it for me) but not right now.

We tried to play drinking games with tiny sample glasses of cooler at the Rethink Romp. I was terrible at it. It involved too  much talk of jerking off, anyway!

Yeah I did make us some capes! Yeahhhh I did! Such pretty copper capes. I also talked Raymes out of wearing a bikini-top and cape. I am the prude!

Last night I went to Red Light with Niki and then some other friends were there (also have you ever noticed how everyone is such a slimeball all the time these days?? sleazes everywhere!) And at first I wasn't feeling any partytown but then, man do I love motown and finally the bar had cleared out a bit and then I dancedddddd.

Also, Raymi and I fucking tore it up at the Rethink Romp. Like danced our way through boring crowds and shook it forever and only got a little bit of cut-eye from people who are allergic to FUNTIMEZ mostly I think people were down. Why don't more people want to dance? It's the fun thing!

today I drank tea and I listened to Clipse and I laughed at my own jokes. Oh, right, that's most days.

I wish I had a rap/dance band again.



Work last night was the longest EVER. I mean, did you even see that game (you probably didn't)? Super lot of runs for both sides and it was just like the battle of bad pitching from what I could tell. Heyyy this is a baseball blog now!
But I worked with my friend who just got a job as a flight attendant so she's been trying to improve her french so we were attempting to speak only french to each other. Terrible failure, but truly good times. Holy lord we were killing ourselves falling over laughing at our ridiculous lack of french knowledge.
Also I kept singing french voyageur songs and doing the actions. Obviously.



It was super slow and so luckily we were entertaining each other and luckily it was a pretty smooth night, not terrible issues at the end or anything. And made a bit of change, so, yeah, I can take you out on the town now if you wanna go.



Magpie after work where two groups of my friends were there sort of separately. Stayed later than I intended and then bought taquitos. FUCK YOU, TAQUITO.

my agent just called and was like "Recall tomorrow at 11" and I was like "nooooo then I have to blow off aquafit"
we laughed. and laughed.
and then in my head I was like "YESSSSSSS FIFTY BUCKS" just like that in my mind.

I'm ready to book GIGS and then I'm ready to book more gigs!

I think I'm going to have a clothing swap next week. Do you want to come? It may also be the official unveiling of my new apartment (ahah this gets dumber because I didn't even change anything, really. I mean, how much can you do with 100 square feet??)!
